Our purpose is to provide an environment of encouragement and support for children and families of Emergency Services following a Line of duty death or suicide. The focus is to provide opportunities for growth, relationships, leadership and development through education, conversation, activity and creative support. We believe children are our future and strive to provide the best possible context for their guardians to be able to assist them to develop, mature and grow with guidance.
Our vision is that every Emergency Service child who have experienced the death of a parent in the line of duty or to suicide, in Canada, has access to ongoing quality support that can assist in the healing process and to nurture and promote lifelong friendships.
Our future hope is
to continue to support and nurture those families left behind and to spread
awareness about mental health concerns for survivors and their children
